Why should we care about politics when the analysis is so bleak? Why should we act collectively when messages are so negative and results so low?
“You only have to say what you have in front of your eyes and not to elude the conclusion” Invisible committee.
A critical look gives reasons for action. And an historical look reveals that each act of destruction calls for an act of creation.
Why do you become an activist?
You do not become an activist. A situation turns you into an activist.
An unbearable moment which you can not ignore, avoid or bypass.
Yesterday, Che Guevara, Gandhi, Comandante Marcos. Political icons.
Today, brands without political messages.
Is marketing to blame or our feeling of disempowerment?
Or the icon. He or she is there to do the job for us: no need to get out of our comfort and ignorance.
But if political messages are not being shared and understood, the emptiness of brands prevail.
Octavio Paz “The revolutionary is always radical, he does not long to correct abuses, but the uses themselves”
Arundhati Roy “The transformation of the idea of justice into the industry of human rights”

Justice – what I do not have but you have whereas we should all have it
Justice is all encompassing.
Cooperations govern. They have a political project and they are winning.
We need to fight back for justice. Not just for my rights but our right for justice.
Do you resist to break yourself free or to regain respect for human values?
If you do not resist, do you accept?
Resistance is the art of asking questions, of questioning boundaries; a process of creation, against the forces of destruction.
Many voices – Little understanding
Many words – Weak analysis
Much information – Little knowledge
Too much control and too few rebellions!
Politicians and journalists are prone to oversimplify complicated issues, especially if it is in their interests to do so.
Not everything can be seen, a picture is only a glass half-full. There is so much it does not reveal.
The invisible and the untold are powerful. Perceptions of the other or of an issue can play a greater role than reality.
Have you ever thought of the chains that were keeping you away from yourself? The experience you are missing by fear and control… You see it here but what about all the invisible chains inside and outside you. Remember, the most powerful limits to freedom are those you do not recognise as such. It is not what you can not do, it is what you have not thought of doing yet…
